This is a shirt that I did to help out a great organization up in Michigan named 4th & 1 Football Camp- They essentially help high school students from underrepresented groups balance sports training with SAT/ACT prep and diagnostics, professional development, creative workshops, and life skills classes.
The race is June 2 this year, so be sure to sign up if you’re in the area and want to sponsor these kids!
Stumbled across a sketch I made a few years ago. Just a random cutie sporting a Green Lantern tee (before the Ryan Reynolds movie arrived and dashed any hopes of seeing another cool movie franchise from DC).
And a tattered copy of Dune.

Here’s a fun illustration I made for a twitter pal slash awesome architectural photographer whose black lab, Cooper, is a huge part of his life. A great guy (loves those NHL Capitals, and loves to argue over Ovechkin), and a great dog from what I hear. I enjoyed this one! And yes, apologies to Norman Bridwell (Clifford’s poppa) for borrowing the big dog concept.

A few weeks ago an old friend reconnected with me after dropping off the face of the planet for four years. Turns out, she’s been doing great and was getting married in Madison, WI. She wanted a unique gift for her husband to be, and decided to commission an illustration for him! I think it turned out great, and so did they! Congratulations to both of them

…there’s Teela. Just wanted to balance out the testosterone with another drawing. I wish I was able to show you some of the great projects I’m working on right now, but I’m sworn to secrecy. This is just a fun exercise to keep my pencil loose. Well, stylus pen I suppose.

I grew up in the 80s. Cheesy sitcoms, knee-high tube socks, feathered haircuts, Reagan, and Saturday morning cartoons. Here’s my spin on (an apparently BALCO-enhanced) He-Man.

Ah yes. This was a t-shirt design I was commissioned to do for the Springfield Junior Blues a few years back. I was a junior in high school when this team was in its inaugural year in Springfield. I still chuckle when I think back to when we’d see some of those guys walking around with inverted mohawks after suffering their rookie initiations. They’re a fun team to watch play.
This was for a t-shirt design a few years ago. Goalies really are fun to draw. All of those huge pads, cool helmets, and crazy poses when they make saves (or miss, in this case) really offer up some prime illustration potential.

Here’s a fun little guy I created for an identity theft prevention flyer and poster. Vector art created in Illustrator.
